Reading & Listening for class this Thursday
November 3, 2008 · 2 Comments
We will be joined at the start of class by Jesse Thorn, the creator and host of the podcast The Sound of Young America. Please visit the show’s archives and listen to at least two shows that look interesting to you. Note when listening that the show is produced out of his home.
In addition, we’ll be talking about strategies for successful podcasts, as well as the technical ins-and-outs of basic audio editing and podcast publishing. To prepare for that, please read:

What If We Won info
October 30, 2008 · Leave a Comment
First off, you can pass along the site with this URL: http://www.whatifwewon.com
Make sure your pitch to people is simple and clear–it helps to spread when they can explain it to others easily. I’m saying this: What will YOUR face look like when your candidate wins the election? http://www.whatifwewon.com
Secondly, for the couple people with new accounts, here’s the story from Flickr as to why your photos aren’t showing up yet.:
If your account is new, first you need to upload at least 5 photos. After that minimum has been reached, then it shouldn’t take more than a few days until your photos appear in searches, groups, etc. To make sure your photos show in searches, remember to add accurate tags and descriptions.
Thanks for some great work!
